The Ocean Saxophone Quartet is an Asian-Australian group based in Melbourne. It is their mission to bring music from their familial Asian cultures to new audiences, representing the unique stories of the Asian-Australian voice to classical music.

This music video captures a fun dinner catch up between friends who love yum cha and love music. The delicious food, funny banter, beautiful melodies and Asian culture sums up the life of the Ocean Saxophone Quartet.

‘Home’ captures the journey of the two cellists of Luce— Charlotte, who grew up in regional towns around Australia, and Wendy, who grew up in outer-city Auckland. Both cellists met in Melbourne to pursue their common dream to be performing musicians. They have described their musical journey so far to be full of self discovery, in which their roots to natural landscapes have served as an anchor throughout their intensely busy grind in Melbourne city, where they have chosen to embark on their new chapter as performing artists. Luce believes these elements of personal identity and ‘Home’ are what connect them to their collaborators, but also to their audiences.

In collaboration with BPM Studios, pianist Sean Kim has developed all sides of his personal brand. From social media and brand identity to the hosting and marketing of his most recent piano recital in June 2024, Sean aims to share his journey as an aspiring young musician with other musicians and audiences.
